You mean 'starting' the edges. start with 10" of felt tacked in the first 2" with the underside facing you to the fascia/batten, fold at 2" back up to the roof edge, fold over the roof edge, lay the last 6" on the roof, stuck with tar-adhesive.. Using felt paper in conjunction with drip edge is probably one of the most useful benefits you can add to your shed. if you don't use this product, you won't see any detrimental effects for the first few years in the life of your shed.. Should you use drip edge? it's just a shed! if you live in a climate like i do, where the winters are somewhat harsh, then mild, then harsh again, with alot of freezing, thawing, raining, snow, etc., then having drip edge installed on your shed roof over the roofing felt is an absolute must in my book..
